So my tripod broke, and I’ve been seeing a couple of videos () on those nice (but expensive) sliding arm camera mounts and thought to myself “I can definitely make something like this for way cheaper.”

The idea was to use 1/2” emt conduit, which is strong enough to hold up a phone/camera and fairly cheap.
